Start 2010 on Right Note with The Black Keys

Plus a pajama bunch at Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba and a 5K run in Lincoln Park

BLACK AND BLUESY: Start 2010 on the right note by seeing blues duo The Black Keys at the Riviera. This Ohio-based band's 2008 album, Attack & Release, helped broaden the group's appeal thanks partly to producer Danger Mouse. Openers include Kurt Vile And The Violators. 4746 N. Racine Ave.; Uptown. 8 p.m. $49. 18 and older.

DRESS TO IMPRESS: Too hungover to grab something to eat with that special someone? Don't sweat it. Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba hosts a special brunch in which diners can show up in their pajamas. The restuarant even encourages it by giving out gift certificates to those wearing their PJs. 2024 N. Halsted St.; Lincoln Park. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

RUN OFF SOME LBS.: If you're looking to lose some weight this year, then consider starting that New Year's resolution off with the 25th Annual New Year's Day 5K Run/Walk. The race begins at Stockton and La Salle in Lincoln Park, and all proceeds go to the Lake View Citizens' Council. Race begins at 11 a.m. $30.
